Helen Cooper founded Gordonvale Physiotherapy in 2016 after a long career in various other services. The idea was to have a one stop local destination for comprehensive physiotherapy services. Helen is a highly experienced and dedicated physiotherapist and our practice stands as a testament to her lifelong commitment to excellence in physiotherapy.

Whether it is managing musculoskeletal issues, adressing specific concerns in women's and men's health, navigating the complexities of neurology or providing gentle care in paediatrics, Helen and our team are equipped to handle it all.

Rhys Simpson - Physiotherapist

We are excited to welcome Rhys Simpson to our team! A proud Far North Queensland local, Rhys graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience in aged care to our practice. His previous roles have included treating a variety of residents onsite, managing pain treatments, conducting risk management assessments like falls prevention, and liaising with clinical teams to ensure optimal care.

Rhys is passionate about supporting individuals with tailored physiotherapy plans and is highly skilled in providing manual handling and falls prevention training. He is also adept at sourcing and ordering supportive devices for clients and has experience creating training resources for staff. With his comprehensive background and dedication to patient wellbeing, Rhys is ready to help our clients achieve their health goals.
